ईश त्वां स्तोतुमिच्छामि ब्रह्मज्योतिः सनातनम् । निरुपितुमशक्तोsहमनुरुपमनीहकम् ॥ १ ॥	Eesha tvaam stotumichchhaami brahmajyotih sanaatanam \| Nirupitumashaktoshamanurupamaneehakam \|\|1\|\|	O Lord, I desire to praise Thee, the eternal light of the Brahman; I am unable to define the incomparable.
प्रवरं सर्वदेवानां सिद्धानां योगिनां गुरुम् । सर्वस्वरुपं सर्वेशं ज्ञानराशिस्वरुपिणम् ॥ २ ॥	Pravaram sarvadevaanaam siddhaanaam yoginaam gurum \| Sarvasvarupam sarvesham j~naanaraashisvarupinam \|\|2\|\|	He is the foremost among all the gods the spiritual master of the perfected yogis He is the embodiment of all and the Lord of all in the form of the host of knowledge.
अव्यक्तमक्षरं नित्यं सत्यमात्मस्वरुपिणम् । वायुतुल्यातिनिर्लिप्तं चाक्षतं सर्वसाक्षिणम् ॥ ३ ॥	Avyaktamaksharam nityam satyamaatmasvarupinam \| Vaayutulyaatinirliptam chaakshatam sarvasaakshinam \|\|3\|\|	The unmanifest imperishable eternal truthful in its own form equal to the wind, it is free from all odors and is infallible, the witness of all.
संसारार्णवपारे च मायापोते सुदुर्लभे । कर्णधारस्वरुपं च भक्तानुग्रहकारकम् ॥ ४ ॥	Samsaaraarnavapaare cha maayaapote sudurlabhe \| Karnadhaarasvarupam cha bhaktaanugrahakaarakam \|\|4\|\|	It is very rare to find a boat of illusion on the other side of the ocean of material existence, and in the form of the leader, and the cause of grace to the devotee.
वरं वरेण्यं वरदं वरदानामपीश्र्वरम् । सिद्धं सिद्धिस्वरुपं च सिद्धिदं सिद्धिसाधनम् ॥ ५ ॥	Varam varenyam varadam varadaanaamapeeshrvaram \| Siddham siddhisvarupam cha siddhidam siddhisaadhanam \|\|5\|\|	He is the best of the best, the bestower of boons, and the Lord of the bestowers of boons, Siddha, the form of perfection, the giver of perfection, and the means of perfection.
ध्यानातिरिक्तं ध्येयं च ध्यानासाध्यं च धार्मिकम् । धर्मस्वरुपं धर्मज्ञं धर्माधर्मफलप्रदम् ॥ ६ ॥	Dhyaanaatiriktam dhyeyam cha dhyaanaasaadhyam cha dhaarmikam \| Dharmasvarupam dharmaj~nam dharmaadharmaphalapradam \|\|6\|\|	He is beyond meditation and is to be meditated upon and is religious and unattainable by meditation. He is the form of righteousness, the knower of righteousness, and the giver of the fruits of righteousness and immorality.
बीजं संसारवृक्षाणामङकुरं च तदाश्रयम् । स्त्रीपुत्रपुंसकानां च रुपमेतदतीन्द्रियम् ॥ ७ ॥	Beejam samsaaravr^ikshaanaama~nakuram cha tadaashrayam \| Streeputrapumsakaanaam cha rupametadateendriyam \|\|7\|\|	The seed and sprout of the trees of material existence are the shelter of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. He is the transcendental form of men and women, sons and daughters.
सर्वाद्यमग्रपूज्यं च सर्वपूज्यं गुणार्णवम् । स्वेच्छया सगुणं ब्रह्म निर्गुणं चापि स्वेच्छया ॥ ८ ॥	Sarvaadyamagrapuujyam cha sarvapuujyam gunaarnavam \| Svechchhayaa sagunam brahma nirgunam chaapi svechchhayaa \|\|8\|\|	He is the first of all and the first to be worshiped, and He is the ocean of all virtues. By His own will, he becomes the Saguna Brahman and by His own will, the Nirguna.
स्वयं प्रकृतिरुपं च प्राकृतं प्रकृतेः परम् । त्वां स्तोतुमक्षमोsनन्तः सहस्त्रवदनेन च ॥ ९ ॥	Svayam prakr^itirupam cha praakr^itam prakr^iteh param \| Tvaam stotumakshamosnantah sahastravadanena cha \|\|9\|\|	You are the form of nature itself and transcendental to nature. I am unable to praise, you have thousand faces.
न क्षमः पञ्चवक्त्रश्र्च न क्षमश्र्चतुराननः । सरस्वती न शक्ता च न शक्तोsहं तव स्तुतौ । न शक्ताश्र्च चतुर्वेदाः के वा ते वेदवादिनः ॥ १० ॥	Na kshamah pa~nchavaktrashrcha na kshamashrchaturaananah \| Sarasvatee na shaktaa cha na shaktosham tava stutau \| Na shaktaashrcha chaturvedaah ke vaa te vedavaadinah \|\|10\|\|	Neither the fivefaced nor the fourfaced Sarasvatī is capable of praising you nor are the four Vedas capable of praising you Who are you who speak the Vedas.
इत्येवं स्तवनं कृत्वा सुरेशं सुरसंसदि । सुरेशश्र्च सुरैः सार्द्धं विरराम रमापतिः ॥ ११ ॥	Ityevam stavanam kr^itvaa suresham surasamsadi \| Sureshashrcha suraih saarddham viraraama ramaapatih \|\|11\|\|	In this manner, the assembly of gods extolled Lord of the Devas (Suresh, i.e., Lord Ganesha), and the lord of the goddess (Rama, i.e., Lord Vishnu) along with the other gods ceased their praises.
इदं विष्णुकृतं स्तोत्रं गणेशस्य च यः पठेत् । सायंप्रातश्र्च मध्याह्ने भक्तियुक्तः समाहितः ॥ १२ ॥	Idam vishnukr^itam stotram ganeshasya cha yah pathet \| Saayampraatashrcha madhyaahne bhaktiyuktah samaahitah \|\|12\|\|	This hymn (stotra) composed by Lord Vishnu, if a devotee recites it with devotion and concentration during the morning, evening, and noon, they will be blessed.
तद्विघ्ननिघ्नं कुरुते विघ्नेशः सततं मुने । वर्धते सर्वकल्याणं कल्याणजनकः सदा ॥ १३ ॥	Tadvighnanighnam kurute vighneshah satatam mune \| Vardhate sarvakalyaanam kalyaanajanakah sadaa \|\|13\|\|	O sage, Lord Ganesha, who constantly dispels obstacles, is the perpetual bestower of all welfare and auspiciousness.
यात्राकाले पठित्वा तु यो याति भक्तिपूर्वकम् । तस्य सर्वाभीष्टसिद्धिर्भवत्येव न संशयः ॥ १४ ॥	Yaatraakaale pathitvaa tu yo yaati bhaktipuurvakam \| Tasya sarvaabheeshtasiddhirbhavatyeva na samshayah \|\|14\|\|	Whoever, with devotion, recites this at the right time (during the journey), all their desires will undoubtedly be fulfilled.
तेन दृष्टं च दुःस्वप्नं सुस्वप्नमुपजायते । कदापि न भवेत्तस्य ग्रहपीडा च दारुणा ॥ १५ ॥	Tena dr^ishtam cha duhsvapnam susvapnamupajaayate \| Kadaapi na bhavettasya grahapeedaa cha daarunaa \|\|15\|\|	The one who recites this stotra is protected from bad dreams and terrible astrological influences (graha peeda).
भवेद् विनाशः शत्रूणां बन्धूनां च विवर्धनम् । शश्र्वदिघ्नविनाशश्र्च शश्र्वत् सम्पद्विवर्धनम् ॥ १६ ॥	Bhaved vinaashah shatruunaam bandhuunaam cha vivardhanam \| Shashrvadighnavinaashashrcha shashrvat sampadvivardhanam \|\|16\|\|	This stotra leads to the destruction of enemies and the growth of kith and kin. It ensures the continuous increase of prosperity and wealth.
स्थिरा भवेद् गृहे लक्ष्मीः पुत्रपौत्रविवर्धिनी । सर्वैश्र्वर्यमिह प्राप्य ह्यन्ते विष्णुपदं लभेत् ॥ १७ ॥	Sthiraa bhaved gr^ihe lakshmeeh putrapautravivardhinee \| Sarvaishrvaryamiha praapya hyante vishnupadam labhet \|\|17\|\|	Steady and ever-increasing wealth, sons, and grandsons grace the home of the one who attains the divine abode of Lord Vishnu (through devotion to Ganesha).
फलं चापि च तीर्थानां यज्ञानां यद् भवेद् ध्रुवम् । महतां सर्वदानानां श्रीगणेशप्रसादतः ॥ १८ ॥ ॥	Phalam chaapi cha teerthaanaam yaj~naanaam yad bhaved dhruvam \| Mahataam sarvadaanaanaam shreeganeshaprasaadatah \|\|18\|\|	The fruits obtained by pilgrimages, yajnas (sacrificial rituals), and all kinds of great charitable acts are certain and definite through the grace of Lord Ganesha.
