The night before wearing the gemstone, it is desirable and beneficial to dip the Pukhraj in a mixture of honey, curd, sugar, pure ghee and milk. Doing so, will cleanse the impurities in the gemstone and remove its negative energies if any.
In the morning of wearing the gemstone, wash it with holy Ganga water. Just before wearing the ring, chant the mantra of guru minimum 324 times for the best results.
