    Shiva Dwadasa Jyotirlinga Stotram: Sacred Verses Celebrating Lord Shiva’s Divine Manifestations

    सौराष्ट्रे सोमनाथंच श्री शैले मल्लिकार्जुनम् |
    उज्जयिन्यां महाकालमोंकारममलेश्वरम् ||
    Saurashtrae somanatham cha shri shaile mallikarjunam
    Ujjayinyam mahakalam omkaram amaleshwaram
    In Saurashtra is located Somnath, and in Shri Shaila is Mallikarjuna. In Ujjain resides Mahakala, and in Omkareshwar is Amaleshwara
    परल्यां वैद्यनाथं च डाकिन्यां भीम शंकरम् |
    सेतुबन्धे तु रामेशं नागेशं दारुका बने ||
    Paralyam vaidyanatham cha dakinyam bheema shankaram
    Setubandhe tu ramesham nagesham daruka bane
    In the South is Vaidyanath, and in Dakini is Bhim Shankara. At the bridge in Setu Bandha is Ramesha, and in Daruka Vanam is Nagesha.
    वाराणस्या तु वश्वेशं त्र्यम्बकं गौतमी तटे |
    हिमालये तु केदारं घुशमेशं च शिवालये ||
    Varanasya tu vashvesham tryambakam gautami tate
    Himalaye tu kedaram ghusmesham cha shivalaye
    In Varanasi is Vishvesha, and on the banks of the Gautami River is Tryambaka. In the Himalayas is Kedara, and in Shivalaya is Gushmesha.
    एतानि ज्योतिर्लिंगानि सायं प्रात: पठेन्नर:|
    सप्त जन्म कृतं पापं स्मरणेन विनश्यति ||
    Etani jyotirlingani sayam pratah pathennarah
    Sapta janma kritam papam smaranena vinishyati
    By reciting these radiant lingas in the evening and morning, a person’s sins accumulated over seven births are destroyed through remembrance.
